    Wombles II

Well, I worry about how this one will go, as they outplayed us at Gresty Road recently. So I'm expecting a bit of a thrashing, but maybe Tommy Lowry can make a difference, he is clearly a class player at this level. Can we do a 'Donny' on the Wombles?...referring to last year's playoffs, when Doncaster were so much better than us in South Cheshire...I really didn't give us an earthly.
Would like to see Sanders and Conway stay on the pitch for most of the game, maybe time for Tabs & Holicek to have a rest?

I assume the Alex are aiming for a 0-0 because I don't see LB going for goals. However, he might as well. Without MickeyD the solidity at the back is not such a given. If we could keep the ball but up the pitch who knows? However, I suspect LB is going to revert to type and pack the back and play the ball along the back line. Unfortunately, this back line could easily slip up.
We might be relying on Tracy getting the ball up the pitch. Which will be great until he decides to unload and then nothing will come of it.
Not looking forward to it. 0-3

Well, that's another correct prediction but how f*****g awful was that referee? Realistically, you don't really believe that a referee can be biased but this bloke really tested that hypothesis. He seemed to penalise and yellow card the Alex at every opportunity. He totally ruined the game and he can fully claim the 3 points.
However, Lee Bell should have brought on Billington immediately and then possibly we wouldn't have conceded again so quickly.
And once again, after another 3-0 defeat, there were lots of positives. As the match summariser on RS said they put in a really good midfield performance. They really knocked the ball about. The only problem with the line up was having Tracy up front. I would start with Thibaut if the old men up front remain unavailable. Thibaut can anticipate rather being reactive and has a good first touch. He's also more mobile and would give the midfield something to aim at rather than static Shilow.

I think Alex fans need to be shouting "penalty" every time we witness one of our players being manhandled in the box.
