An entertaining win for Charlton at the Valley with the players really going for it. Despite the wealth of chances Charlton had building up to it, the first goal was a penalty scored by Godden shortly after half time. Charlton were very much in control for most of the 2nd half. Even though Peterborough were reduced to 10 men when Emmanuel Fernandez fouled Small, they played better with 10 men and also scored from a penalty when Kayne Ramsay fouled Ricky-Jade Jones when through on goal.

Still the Add1cks stuck to their guns and up popped Macaulay Gillesphey with the match-winner. It was a sweetly struck header in the final minute of full time to the delirium of fans in the Covered End.

Nathan Jones has got this team on the march, competing for each other and never giving up. The Add1cks move up to 5th in League 1 and head for Birmingham on Saturday for another tough test but one they are more than capable of passing.
