Maybe that's the approach that Dee4life should consider.
The only questions DSA ask about ticketing are things like
'Please sir, can we have some more?' and 'Can we have 50 tickets for our New South Wales branch which only has two members that haven't been inside Dens for twenty years?'
I'd expect D4L to be more forthright and to ask about such things as pricing and fair allocation to all season ticket holders before DSA members. John wouldn't like that; questioning his lackies just isn't on.
Can only assume that the leaders of both organisations are frightened to ask any meaningful questions to John Nelms because they are concerned that they will get the blame if Tim Keyes decides to pull the plugs and stop bankrolling Dundee Football Club assuming that this has not already happened.
Sadly there never seems to be a ‘right’ time to submit the name of the Dee4life primary representative for election to the Dundee Football Club Limited board to the Dundee Football Club board of directors including Tim Keyes.
As a result the Dee4life board of directors are paralysed by the fear that Tim Keyes will stop bankrolling Dundee Football Club resulting in the Dee4life board of directors getting the blame.
I suggest that the Dee4life board of directors just go for it and submit their primary representative for election to the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors and see what happens.
If their submission is rejected then they should inform their members and the press that their primary representative has been rejected in breach of rules 79-82 of the Dundee Football Club Limited Articles of Association.
Doing nothing is not an option otherwise we could eventually end up with another situation similar to October 2010.
The Dee4life vice chairman at the time and his fellow OLG members on the Dee4life board of directors are the ones who fell drastically short by not pursuing it.
A month later I resigned due to their failure to keep the Dee4life members informed as they preferred to withhold the information about the rejection of their nominated primary representative and Nelms’s reply.
At the time they were more interested in ‘kicking the can down the road’ instead of getting things done which they had promised to do at the Dee4life AGM in November 2022.
