My Swansea supporting mate tells me that LW has lost most of the swans fan base. I?ve seen some of his recent interviews and they are chalk and cheese compared to the upbeat, enthusiastic and insightful media interviews he did at Notts. Swans have a fans forum coming up soon apparently?.

A nice joke, but barring a truly disastrous run and a massive relegation threat, the Montague-Williams era there starts getting judged from August. As DoF, not Head of Recruitment, the last thing RM would want this year is to sack his old muckers and take the responsibility of appointing a new Head Coach

All well and good in theory, but fan power - and a growing threat of relegation - could mean Williams is on the beach before the season ends.

Plus they have only worked together for 15 months & LW also moaned that he didn't get the players he needed. So might not all be rosy.

That's close to what I said.
It's going to be interesting and that club is in for some drama - appointing a DoF from 2 leagues lower isn't exactly a move from a position of strength. Take a look at their fixtures and March is a really tough month, winnable games don't come along til April. They should buckle up.

A 3-1 lose today to a relegation rival a few places below will be putting Williams job on a knife edge for sure. A mate of mine is a massive Swans fan and a season ticket holder and he thinks this could be the final game.

To use a quote from a 70's comedy. "Oh dear, what a pity, never mind".... LOL
