A great wee player for us imo....like you say in a poor team.

This OP is clearly for having a dig at Campbell. The guy?s literally just come in and played 2 (yes TWO) games, one of which was away to Celtic FFS. Give the boy a chance eh? Jesus.

The point of the post is that even after TWO games, we?re pinning our hopes on a player?s reputation from his time in Scotland who struggled to get a game in poor League One team?

I hope he proves me wrong but as supporters do we want another false dawn?

Personally i will give a few more games to assume he was not fit before making a decision. -but shouldnt have to as all players should be fit- he simply looked like he was towing a caravan around and distribution was poor. Hope JG has seen something that I havent.

    I suspect it's his match sharpness/form he's missing.

Years ago you would play reserve fixtures to address this problem. Instead Scottish football thought having "Think Tanks" would be more beneficial. How first team football has gone from being professionals being match fit to using first team games to get match fit at the expense of the paying punter.

    Yeah, there's a definite problem there. 🤔

The days of Wattie Smith directing traffic (on Tannadice) to the so-called "reserves" are long gone, unfortunately.

I might be imagining this, but... I'm sure there were complaints , when.... the "Reserve team" got to a final. (think it did exist) and the "Big Team" had to play some of the first team players (ahem..) in the Reserves , for fitness reasons obviously.
