    Gills

Well, I thought I'd have a go but I'm not sure how much longer I'm going keep doing this.
So with a scandalous upholding of the red card (supporting the referee rather than the evidence??) and confirmation that Williams has collected 10 yellows, we'll only have 2 CHs available tomorrow- O'Riordan and Billington. Even if the mysterious "1 or 2 players" are available, what a bare bones of a team we'll have. Chances are the 2 possible returnees are more midfielders so not necessarily people who can fill in the gaps ( unless one is Thomas and Bell chooses to reprise his stand-in CH role from when we didn't possess 6 of them).
Whatever, I will repeat my request that Thibaut start. The guy is an intelligent player and makes clever moves and touches that could create chances. Please do not play Tracy as a lone forward. He cannot hold (or control!) the ball in a static position. He can only cope when running on to a moving ball facing the right way and even then, most of the time, there's no end product. By all means play him- slightly wide and just off the front- that's where he most likely to do anything positive.
As for the actual match - I'm really happy that a much touted team are struggling in the middle of the table. However, I hope the travelling Alex don't give Nevitt a hard time like at the home game. He can't be begrudged a late career move that earned him some money after he'd spent much of his early career in non-league. Further, he gave his all while he was with the Alex. A lot of people found the booing distasteful for a club with such a good reputation. The other reason is that ex-players sometimes comes back to haunt their old clubs, especially when receiving stick from them witness CBR last week.
So finally (!), I expect a boring game and against the odds, we'll draw. 1-1 or more likely 0-0.

I'd forgotten about Thomas but I can't think of another midfielder unless Lunt is being talked about but he is on loan anyway. Personally I would be very surprised if we see any returning faces today. I'd love to know who is on the review panel that are truly unbiased. I can even see ex. players not being 100% honest as some would see it as a cushy number and wouldn't want to rock the boat. Tracey is miles better out wide but I'm not convinced Thibaut is ready to play against big bruisers. Nevitt I have 100% respect for and I know that he gave everything and a bit more for us.
I will go for a 1 or 2 nil loss and the inevitable ex. player scoring against us, I just hope that Rowe isn't playing aswell.

Not had a go at this for a while but off the back of privately with my brother predicting the Newport and Wimbledon games correctly I thought I’d go for the hatrick 2-0 defeat with Nevitt getting 1 of the goals. And I do hope finally after the last couple of seasons the board and management team realise that having a small squad means you can’t afford to sign players with questionable fitness records !!!!

Your last comment absolutely spot on Wartman. We've repeated the mistake two or three times over with Long which is criminal. The downside would be only being able to bring in players of less ability due to our budget.

All our defensive problems are being brought on ourselves. Total indecisiveness and poor passing. We are putting unnecessary pressure by continually playing back into our defence.

In the end have to be grateful for a point. I hope Cooney gets a rocket for his 2 yellows- incredibly stupid and irresponsible considering the problems we have at the moment.
The fact that Agius was brought on as a RB mustn't have impressed Stan Dancey. If LB has no faith in him then he shouldn't have put him on the bench.
However, who plays there in the next game? At least JKL will be back. Grimsby will be a different proposition.
I'm hoping that Tracey is not another injury but more importantly I have to hope that Dicker's "up to 5 players available" for the next game is true and not the BS we've been hearing recently about injuries.

Grimsby is not for a while unless I am missing something. Our next game is home to Barrow

Just seeing if anyone was taking any notice 😉
Yes, Grimsby is a different proposition so fortunately we're not playing them. Barrow on the other hand will present more of the same as recent games.
