As proven with dyche vs moyes at Everton. To be fair LW was presiding over a real decline when he left here. Can?t blame LW though for giving it a go at a higher level but suspect the reality is he is a league 2 manager at the very most.

Apart from that I agree with OchPie - surprising timing. What role, if any, did Montague have?
Imagine RM is very disappointed. But fan power is everything and it?s no surprise their owners couldn?t hold their nerve with a fans forum on the horizon.

The Williams hate feels unfounded. He did very well for us and that season will live long in the memory. He left for a position in a higher division for more money when he was on the up.

Crowley on the other hand - fill ya boots.

Not sure I would tbh. I think SMs a bit overlooked because of previously being part time, a bad start results wise and not a guy that comes across as brimming in confidence as LW did.
That said regardless of the ultra dissecting of his subs when we don?t win on the whole I think we are a lot more balanced and the team on the whole seem to be running throughh brick walls for him. If we had played like this season under LW I?m pretty sure he would be getting a lot more praise than SM.

Again, the squad that was put together did not just train themselves into the force they were. That is not how it works.

Also, who decided to play Langstaff centrally when he came to Notts?

    Thats it, Luke Williams.

No way I'd have him back. We're doing fine as we are thank you and he'd probably be off again as soon as another offer came.

I take no pleasure at all in seeing him sacked but it's another demonstration that better wages are not everything. He went from being worshipped to being terribly abused and now he's unemployed. I wish him well, but not here.

He just needs to temper things like I love him his club etc as he said before he left as that?s what comes across as a bit false from him.
I don?t think he always engages his brain before he speaks and ultimately I think his flirtation with West Brom speeded up his departure, imagine the feeling in the dressing room let alone the fans.

What? For him to do the same again as soon as a job came up closer to home.
No thanks. Reap what you sow
