66% possession though so a successful day for Williams.

Wonder how long he will last.

Swansea have a very tricky set of fixtures for their remaining 13 games, including Leeds, Sunderland, Watford, QPR and Millwall all away from home and Blackburn, Burnley and Middlesbrough at home. I can't realistically see them getting relegated but if they carry on in their current form they will be getting close to it. Luke is getting a hell of a lot of stick on their forum.

I watched a You Tube fans blog and the supporters at the end were calling for him to go. They were well pi**ed off shouting for him to f**k off. It was a well nasty atmosphere Stokes 3rd from the half way line was a peach though Blackburn at home next, can see that being his last game if they lose that.

Why should we care or be remotely interested

It's going to be interesting and that club is in for some drama - appointing a DoF from 2 leagues lower isn't exactly a move from a position of strength. Take a look at their fixtures and March is a really tough month, winnable games don't come along til April. They should buckle up.
Not sure it was close to what I was saying. You were very much leaning towards they won?t sack him and he will be judged on the first part of next season and how the Williams/ Montague partnership goes. I was very much leaning in the opposite direction (ie he won?t be given the time with the continual decline in results and fan unrest).

My immediate reaction is LW was already on borrowed time and RM's expertise, such as it is, was always to help choose the replacement rather than support LW.

Can't help feel that LW was sold short as he was here with poor recruitment after our promotion.

I get the feeling he was backing his defence, he brought Baldwin in, it was his signing, KC stayed as captain. He was supported with Crowley, Didzy was a fantastic signing, I don?t think it can be underestimated his influence on our players. JJ was signed full time, Langstaff signed a new deal, Nemane signed a new deal. I thought he was a bit naive in not influencing at least one decent addition in the back line and probably a bit more naive in playing so open.

Agree Matt. We will never know but I?m personally not buying it that he wasn?t backed here in the market.

Disappointing that Montagues leaving, but as ever I trust the owners to replace him with better.
Paul Mace has just apologised over last weeks comments admitting he got it totally wrong.
