He was letting blatant fouls go and when our players voiced an opinion, he produced a yellow, but not to the offending player. How the Liverpool centre back did not get a second yellow for his assault on Cunha, only he knows. Big team bias once again.

One Liverpool fan stated that "Our second half performance was the best by any team against them this season." Praise indeed. It was only the incompetence of the referee that prevented us from getting at least a point or more. No shots on target in the second half by the Reds tells it's own story.
Opinion is divided whether the penalty that was given was a correct decision, with Diaz bumping into Agbadou as he was clearing the ball. The injury to Agbadou is a big worry, I'm guessing that he's damaged a hamstring by his body language, he felt it before half time but didn't flag it up... That could mean a six week layoff instead of two or three.

The stats for the game are very positive, we edged possession, in previous seasons that would have been around 70/30 in there favour. We had more shots and more shots on target than they did, and they didn't have a single shot in the second half, the first time they have been closed out at Anfield in a decade! The half-time substitutions and playing Munetsi as a false 9 were inspired, I'm really taking to our new manager. We're up against, it but subject to people staying fit, I think we're the best of the four in the relegation zone.

Thanks Abbo. Tell Frank I wish him all the best. I should be back on 25 Feb. I fell foul of the evil bitch that I was warned about. She really shouldn't be a moderator if she can't take a balanced view. I told her she was vile. Hope things are progressing well with your health mate. Best wishes.

The referee was shocking and that's not sour grapes.
Liverpool players deliberately stopping our counter attacks and then the referee booking our players for pointing it out.

If he lost a few pounds he could probably keep up with the game in future.

Yes he really is a porky dollop for a referee and came across as very biased!
