Alan Sheehan placed in temporary charge assisted by Martin Margetson and Kris O’Leary.
Alan’s last stint of seven games reaped 11 points, which included a 5-0 thrashing by Russell Martin’s Southampton

Lots of names being bandied about from the English leagues. I wouldn’t mind us going for a foreign head-coach, they seem to have some success here.
I’m thinking of no-nonsense Dane, Thomas Frank of Brentford as an example. Appointed in 2018, 2019-20 Brentford reached the play-off final losing out to Fulham. 2020-21 season they won the play-off final, beating Swansea. They’ve been in the PL ever since, a fine record.
If only we could dig up another Frank eh!

What do we do, gamble on young and inexperienced, who if successful move on to greater things or do we go for an old head with Championship experience plucked from the football merry-go-round who is more likely to stay ?
Some names being talked about -
Des Buckingham, Ian Evatt, Ryan Mason the former, Ryan Lowe, David Wagner, Sean Dyche the latter.

Here as an example are SkyBet latest odds:

    Des Buckingham 3/1.
    Russell Martin 6/1.
    Rob Edwards 12/1.
    Alan Sheehan 12/1.
    Gary O'Neil 12/1.
    Neil Harris 14/1.
    Alan Tate 16/1.
    Ryan Mason 16/1.

It’s been a heck of a week boys, losing to a team below us in the table whilst conceding three goals, then the manager and his assistant are gone a few days later.
Sheehan has to pick up the pieces now, for how long who knows. Coleman to ages last time and probably sees Sheehan as the cheap option until the summer whilst only going through the motions of looking for a new head-coach. We have to hope Sheehan can motivate the players to turn things around.
Luton played out a 1-1 draw with Plymouth tonight, which suits us, both are in the bottom three.
