'Far less ambiguous', Med? Is it ambiguous at all?

I think you need to take into account the reaction Musk got, then look at Bannon's.

It just seems to be coming out into the open now.

    Very choppy waters ahead.

He?s fascinating to watch, just seen the Black History month broadcast and he had so much energy and enthusiasm in celebrating merit and effort of the black community. He?s disrupting everything.

I hope you're right. And if not, you can just cede Alberta because let's face it, Canada shouldn't have picked a fight with DJT in the first place.

I hope we don?t increase our military spending. They are so many other things require funding that are of much greater priority.

Other than the US under trump, what are the threats Canada is facing? Here in Oz I can see a possible war with China on the horizon (hope not, but we don't want to be unprepared if it happens), but Canada? It was just Russia and Russia has destroyed its conventional military now.

You think we would go to war with China? Just because a few Chinese warships are meandering down the East Coast as a US army guy is in town? If we go to war with China it would be the most one sided war ever. They own half of the country anyway. There is no need to fire a weapon for them to be in control in Australia.

No threats whatsoever. We?d be a massive economic liability to anyone that took us over.

I can imagine it?s the same with Australia. Why on earth would that want the burden of paying for your pensions?

Australia exports about half the food it grows and sits on a significant proportion of the world's metal reserves (various categories). So, the strategic value is largely in the land itself, such as it is.

But war with China is likely to kick off over Taiwan more than anything. They don't really have the power projection (yet) to threaten us directly, at least not with with any western alliances taken into account.

QLDpie: Yeah nah, three warships are not a sign of imminent war with China hehe. I'm thinking more 2040s, 2050s, that kind of timeframe.
