I thought Traff was a bit poor tonight, he made a couple of good saves but was out of position for 3 of their shots which should have been goals. he was also was a bit wayward on his kicking. But another clean sheet so it seems churlish to criticise him (but I have).

He is improving especially on set pieces which were his weak point.Strange especially for a big lad like him.

Still not good on crosses. Punched out two last night when it was easier to catch them.

alf, it is what they are told to do more and more these days.
Have a look at the Sunderland keeper today. He tried to catch cross and it ended up as the winner for Hull ---lovely stuff after the blinder he had against Leeds ---- and they lost that too. Fans will not remember that display, however, they will remember his blunder today ---such is football. Blunders and blinders ----the joys of being a keeper.

You obviously see a different game from the TV but from my seat in the BL he was excellent.

Goal keepers rarely catch crosses these days, his punching was excellent and commanded his box superbly.

To be fair though I thought Wednesday were poor on corners and set pieces, with their height should have put Trafford under more pressure

Ashy and Ballycock,I know they are taught to punch the ball, but twice under no pressure whatsoever he did that. Why not just catch the flippin ball instead of punching it out back to them... Puts more pressure on the defence for no reason whatsoever. I will never agree with a goalkeeper punching a ball out when it's far easier to catch it under no pressure at all. Rant over. 😀

You'd never catch Adam Blacklaw punching the ball, a forward maybe but never the ball.

The ball was to heavy to punch in those days

Haha, too true,I can remember heading the old lace up footballs with the pigs bladder inside and heading it where they laced them up and having an imprint of the laces on my forehead for a few hours. Those were the days..😁🤣
