Yesterday we also kept the pattern going of,yet again, losing to a team who had,up until kick off, been on a poor run. I bet Derby wish we were in the same league and were playing us next week!

You are correct there are some players that don?t look interested, but that isn?t the same as having a poor game. I cannot believe there is a person that watches RUFC that can say Powell doesn?t put in a shift, he does make mistakes and have bad games, but that player puts in the effort. Green is a highly talented player, but his work rate and desire is terrible, in my opinion he is riding out the season to move on a free. Odoffin has been outstanding and he was last year as well, yet the club have consistently shown him little respect over his contract. All footballers make mistakes, James yesterday is an example, but we did not lose yesterday because of that mistake, we lost because of the complete lack of desire as a team to win that game. We have to ask why? We have some decent L1 players, yet they do not look like a team that is implementing a plan that they buy into. I think most of us on here are wise enough and old enough to know, that when success requires a group of people to work together they have to believe in the plan, our players and management are not on the same page, and SE yet again calling out players in post match interviews is unprofessional and unacceptable.

Green never convinced me no good when your backs against the wall. James another one looks drained of energy. Powell easily our best signing this season but he can't do it on his own. Rafferty Jules ok for league 1. Wilkes of the loan players played up front better there apart from Nombe than who we've got there. Rest of the signings don't know why they're here.
How did the linesman miss the handball by a Millers defender in the 2nd half.
When we got back in the pub after the game, Sky TV kept showing the incident,
Should have been another penalty for Barnsley, no wonder their fans went ballistic.
Sorry Ronners but I thought Nombe was looking for a penalty and went down far too easily.
At the end of the day we got exactly what we deserved thanks to a clueless manager who started with a ridiculous line-up and a bunch of players who, apart from 3 or 4, just don't look too bothered.
We can't keep blaming referees for the ineptitude at the club.
where to start
Evans and raynor need to go
corners are a joke are they coaching these.
the players didn't want to press
haks nombe did their part
hugill reverted to form dropping like a stone
Evans stood their bellowing
raynor directing traffic with his note pad. can be used to tactics as there are no tactics.. just micromanagement
piss poor management players don't respect them or want to play for them
jch aka the tractor
Tony you need to read the room. Evans and his clueless sidekick need to go and soon
There was nothing in the game for us that suggested better days are ahead even if the 3 points were welcome .
I sort of got to thinking yesterday afternoon about how this game was once was and how it is now .
I take the point that a 12.30 PM KO does little to help but this was a damp squib of a local derby unimaginable at one time .
Where was the excitement ? , neither team had one single player who could get you off your seat , sterile , unimaginative bag of shyte .
Oh for the days of Towner , Barraclough , Ronnie Moore , Glav , Banks , the steel of McCarthy , Stancliffe , Gow and the craft of Fern and Derrick Parker .
There wasn't one single player out there yesterday who'd have got within a hundred miles of playing in either of our teams back in the early 80's .
Those days may possibly be over for good but I feel we should be way way better than the borefest witnessed yesterday in a season all ready over contest played at daft o'clock .
Nostalgia may well play tricks on you when you get to my age but given yesterday's insipid fayre on offer .
Thank Christ I'm 63 years of age , you couldn't buy that early 80's period off me .
