Wilson was awful couldnt hold the ball up and messed up 2 great chances to finish the game and Burn was shocking as well giving the ball away so easily. Thought Willock was very good, Hall MOTM he never stopped.

    Just been saying this.

We haven't got the mentality to hold a 3 goal lead, let alone win a cup final.

And if this all seems overly negative following what was, after all, a win, it's because it could very easily have been a draw and both Eddie and the team were absolutely out-thought and out-played by Nuno and Forest in that second half.

Was there any foul given to us in second half?

Aye, its a mental thing I agree.

Cant handle the pressure of a comfy 3 goal lead at home, they will struggle big time in the final.

If I was a player, any confidence from the 1st half gained is fkn gone following the second, we win yes, but it should have been comfortable and that is down to EH in my opinion. He needs to light a fire undrr the players/kick some rses after this.

No fkn way are we beating Liverpool twice playing like we did in the second half which is what we need to do to keep alive in the CL race and win a cup.

IMO to keep some of these players we need to do it.

Apperently Forrest boss refused to shake Eddies hand at the end of game?

Firstly, anyone know if it's true? I've seen the one clip but it's easy to clip one thing out.
Secondly, if true - anyone know why?

I did wonder-he walked onto the pitch and certainly didn't appear to.

Makes him a massive twat, if true.

IF he walked out onto pitch, I guess it would be to speak with ref - but still, should have shaken other team manager hand.

As you said, makes him a **** not to have done.

I don't think 4 goals was pure luck.

The 2nd half was a shocking performance, playing up the hill with tired legs. It's not an excuse at all. Barely an explanation for that shower of a performance in the 2nd half.

What it does prove is that we can't sit back and absorb pressure without J7 and Tonali on the field. The CB pair were not at it today at all.

Botman again a big miss, Pope for the first goal was going the wrong way before the ball was kicked.

I recon we'll see us use the Arsenal formation against Liverpool in the cup final, possibly at Anfield on Wednesday.

We need to get through the next 3 league matches, Liverpool away is a dead rubber IMO, so long as we don't get battered +3 goals I'd take a 2-0 away loss, the form they're in!

Brighton at home is a matter of professional pride, to reinstate our dominant home form after the loss against them last season. Shame it's a cup match, opening a gap of 3 point over them would be nice but they beat us as SJP earlier this season. Not cool. Revenge required.

West Ham away, Potter is starting to find a bit of form and could pose a bigger challenge than previously considered. Hopefully we can take the points, with a customary Wilson v West Ham goal to win it. If he remains fit he should have more minutes in his legs by then and without doubt will perform better than he did at the back end of the 2nd half against Forest. That was not a vintage showing from Cal at all!
