I have seen posters the TDB complaining about your dictatorial posts.
    Dictatorial? Or factual?

I'm more than happy for people to disagree with me and to engage in conversation but when someone refuses to accept reality the chance of meaningful conversation is gone. Tell me one thing in that post that wasn't simple reality - one thing.

I decide when I will purchase a ticket to attend a Dundee FC home game.
It must have been a right kick in the teeth for Dundee FC season ticket holders to see so many league games being televised live on SKY Sports during January 2025 with the home games against Dundee United, Rangers and Celtic all televised live on SKY Sports.
The home game against Rangers on Saturday 29th March 2025 is also being televised live on SKY Sports.
The home game against Hibs on Saturday 23rd November 2024 was televised live on Premier Sports with 5.30pm kick off.
I purchased a ticket for the Hibs game in the Ticket Office on Thursday 21st November 2024 at about 4.30pm.
That evening I happened to look at my ticket and I noticed that the kickoff time printed on my ticket was 7.45pm.
A phone call to the ticket office first thing the following morning confirmed that the wrong kickoff time had been printed on my ticket and I was the first person to notice this.
The Hearts game in August 2024 was also televised live on Premier Sports.
Six home games out of 19 home games at Dens Perk being televised live on SKY Sports or Premier Sports this season in my opinion does not make a season ticket cost effective.
However unless the Dundee FC team starts winning league games several home games next season will be televised live on the BBC Scotland channel with a 7.45pm kickoff on a Friday evening.

Strange response but the deflection isn't unexpected since it's what you do when you're proven wrong.

I agree that the odd and varied kick off times for the TV coverage reduces the perceived value of a season ticket. I can also see the club offering reduced entry costs for some games as the relegation battle hots up to try to increase the backing in the stands. This will further reduce the perceived value of a season ticket.

I have not been proven wrong.
It is obvious sitting the Main Stand at home League games this season that the number of people sitting in Bobby Cox Stand has reduced compared to last season.
It would be interesting to know how many season tickets excluding under 12 season tickets were sold this season compared to last season.

You might eventually change your tune when you realise that the number of people regularly attending home games at Dens Park is falling.
We have an ageing support at lot of whom attended home games during the glory days of the 1960’s and 1970’s up to the end of the 1973-74 season.
These glory days will sadly never be repeated in my lifetime and probably not in yours.

Islay, that's not what the discussion was about; you just deflected the key point to that one. The key point is that you described Mrs. Islay as a football widow but you're very rarely at games. How on earth is Mrs. Islay a football widow?

Now tell me one one thing that I've said in post #86 above that isn't simple reality. I'm trying to help you here.
