It has been well reported that Curtis Main was let go in the January 2025 transfer window to get him off the payroll but Tony Docherty never signed a suitable replacement.
In the Dundee Football Club Limited annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2023 the wages and salaries were 106% of total income.
The loss for the year was ?2.8 million.
This is unsustainable especially if Tim Keyes decides to stop bankrolling Dundee FC which he might have already done hence the reason that Luke McCowan was sold for ?1 million, Max Anderson was transferred to Crawley Town for an undisclosed development fee.
Seb Lochhead and Alastair Graham have been sold to Wolves and Nottingham Forest respectively this season each reportedly for six figure sums.
Dundee Football Club Limited have received loans totalling ?4.8 million at 31st May 2023 from FPS and DBPHL which are being charged 1% because Dundee Football Club Limited have no overdraft facilities with their bankers as they have no assets they can put up a security for their overdraft.
If we get relegated at the end of this season I expect the current 14 members of the management and staff to be reduced.
Incidentally Tim Keyes was bankrolling Dundee Football Club Limited up to 31st May 2023 not John Nelms.
If you do not believe me then I suggest that you read Note 16 which in the last page of the annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2023.
