Ours takes millions and billions. They also have a $37,000,000,000,000 debt along with another $100,000,000,000,000 in unfunded liabilities such as pensions, bonds, housing etc that they've contractually committed to but not funded. States like Illinois have more debt and unfunded liabilities than Greece could ever even dream of. They certainly have the ethics and morals to be world class grifters but they just don't have enough money to steal from their citizens to play with the big boys! They also haven't mastered the art of committing unfunded liablities that will never be paid off by future generations.
I disagree you might think yours is worse but population wise you won't come close. When I left Greece population was 16 mil a couple years ago it was 12 mil as i look now it's 9,938,844 and a lot of them are ring ins from Afrika and middle east. 80 percent of income goes to the corrupt politicians' own pockets while f all goes back into society. Greece won't be around as we know it in 50 years. Greeks are declining everywhere we sort have given up to corruption. Like I said before in australia there was over 1 mill hard working middle class people now there is only 108k left. Very hard to walk around and find another greek to talk too.
