Whatever, or as our youngest daughter used to say when in a spot, “oh forgerrit”. I’ve lost count of the number of posts I’ve written that have ended up not sent but on the cutting room floor. We live in an age when any snoop will trawl through everything you have ever published, tweeted or even posted then deleted to find some injudicious remark to haul you over the coals with. You end up spending more time looking back over your shoulder than in watching what’s ahead. It’s the age we live in and a sorry state of affairs when a moment’s thought becomes an eon of regret. Thank God so much of my youth went unrecorded!
