I honestly can't see him being sacked yet. Think we're gonna have to tolerate it until the end of the season.

As much as Maynard is to blame, so is the sale of Crowley, (and then failing to find a replacement), injuries to key players and yet another really poor Janny-Tranny window, IMHAHO.

managers are only as good as there players , we seen this with williams in nl with scot and langstaff, and we seen it here with crowley, mcgolrick and jones all out thats why notts have gone down hill. and we saw it with nolan after yates left in january

you have to say he's been hamstrung by a horrible series of injuries to most of our best players - look at how Chessie's season has imploded under similar circumstances.

But our fitness, our intensity, our physical strength, our streetsmarts - we rarely even look competitive. Injuries included, it really does look like something's not working on the coaching side - and I've been keen to give SM time.

eta: and Crowley and Nemane are a big loss as it turns out. Hard to put it all on the manager, but I expect Notts to look up for the fight and I can't see any leadership

What is there to say?

No Crowley, no Jones, no Didzy = no chance, with their replacements being so weak
We also seem timid, gutless and way too accepting of defeat. Our wing-back play this year has been so bad.

Even competition for places isn't working - nobody seems to want to claim a shirt.
