I suppose there is always one know all.
Do you honestly believe that Police Scotland officers will let hundreds of Football supporters from both clubs jaywalk across the Camperdown flyover after the end of a football match at Campy Nou.
    Not a chance.
You and the rest of the Dundee FC supporters who think Nelms is the Messiah should be asking him who is providing the finance for the ?95 million (2023 prices) to build his new stadium development including a Crematorium which has no Garden of Remembrance or Memorial Garden because Nelms did not ask Bob Hynd’s firm to include it in the plans.
Islay, every club in the country, including Dundee FC, gets temporary traffic restrictions put in place before and / or after games so that the crowds can get away from the immediate area of the stadium quickly and safely. Do you honestly think that nothing would be done to manage the traffic situation in the highly unlikely event that this stadium gets built? It will in fact be an imperative of planning permission.

And how on earth can you say with a straight face that you've never seen anyone walking on the flyover using it as a shortcut to get to cinema or ice arena? You can't possibly know what the intention of any pedestrian is unless you stop and ask every single one of them. And for the record plenty people walk over the flyover, presumably to get to the cinema, ice arena and even the bus stop outside the Camperdown gates. I know people cross it because I've seen people cross it but to be fair I can only speculate as their intended ultimate destination - could be St Marys for I know or care.

When I was a member of Downfield Golf Club I used to see hordes of people walking down the hill from what is now called the Dryburgh industrial estate where they had parked their cars prior to attending the ice hockey matches in the Dundee Ice Arena.
All this speculation about car parking for both sets of supporters prior to home games in the new football stadium will only come to fruition if the directors of Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited (DBPHL) can source and borrow the required funds to build the new stadium which a couple of years ago was going to cost ?50 million with Dundee Football Club contributing half of the cost.
Dundee Football Club were due FPS and DBPHL ?4.8 million at 31st May 2023 with no assets so how they are going to be able to contribute ?25 million is a mystery to me.
Perhaps Nelmsy has a Dundee Football Club magic mystery tree containing these funds.
