    I'd say we need someone to provide motivation from the dugout which currently we don't have anybody to do this

    Far better to have SM's calm, intellectual approach where every game is like a chess match, played with no rooks and the bishops on the wrong coloured squares. And when a pawn gets promoted, he chooses another pawn.

    The 0.75 stat is the damning one. McGoldrick, Jones, and Crowley to a slightly lesser extent are clearly really good players at this level who can make the difference for you. However.. there is absolutely no way that this squad without them is bad enough to justify bottom of the table form.

    My point is that there are different ways to motivate. Being angry and shouty is only one of them.
