Crawley Town were the winners last time both sides met at the Valley but in a reversal of fortune, the Add1cks continue their onward march up the L 1 table to 4th with another solid win and clean sheet.

Thierry Small scored the winning goal just before half time and the defence held firm in the second half to see off some resolute playing from Crawley under the leadership of former Charlton goalkeeper Rob Elliot.

Before taking the lead, the Add1cks had some good chances from Alex Gilbert and Kayne Ramsay then Conor Coventry afterwards.

The second half was a more open affair but still Joe Wollacott was made to work the hardest of the two keepers.

Matty Godden and Miles Learburn saw their shots blocked or saved. The ever dependable Lloyd Jones also taking on the role of skipper, denied Crawley a goal with a brave header near the end. Anderson had another good game as did they all.
