Guaranteed. It's bound to mean something for us (and them), even if it's play-off positioning.
Surely we can't be out of the play-off reckoning after Game 45

Hopefully not a game where winner makes playoffs, loser doesn?t and a draw could know both teams out of the playoff picture!

Even worse, if Donny have achieved promotion and we haven?t. Don?t think any of us want to see a team celebrating in front of us unless they are in Black n White.

You never know just how important games like these might turn out to be, they can completely change your direction of travel for years to come.

One of the most pivotal games in Notts' entire history was a last Saturday home game of the season fixture v Doncaster Rovers, basically a relegation decider to stay in tier 2. We would have stayed up if we'd won the game but we were 0-4 down at HT and lost 0-5. Fword went on to win the FA Cup the following season as we crashed straight through to the newly formed 4th division.

Worrying about whether Notts are ready or not to go up is daft. One bad season in tier 3 and the worst that happens is you're still in the FL. One bad season at this level and it's hello Woking, Fylde and Ebbsfleet again.

I just thought that this morning and how many teams weve had celebrating at ML in the past few years. Weve not celebrated a promotion at home for 15 years but to win a decider on the last day would be effing fantastic.
