The wages thing will be treated as a loss-leader - after all, it's better to get something and get Langstaff somewhere where he might perform again, before offloading him. Either loan him out or selling him, Millwall would still be on the hook for his wages until his original contract with them is due to end.

Not sure if that would make it better or worse to sell him now or loan him in the hope he gets some form back?
