As a general rule, if got larger household numbers then rates might be advantageous
Low numbers in house better off with a meter.
Mother in law moved next door about 7 year ago and we had a water meter fitted for her. She was paying ?28 for the first 3 years. That's her using my hosepipe to water her garden.
Her son moved back in with her usage/cost went up to ?47. Now ?52. which TBH was been about what I was paying.
I get things go up but ?250 more is taking the pizz.
5 peeps in the house plus I keep koi which requires water changes through the warmer months so maybe I'm paying what I should be.
