Hmm... that's an odd story/link from the BBC - it talks about could she have been stopped from murdering, but all the news at the moment is that her conviction is 'likely to be unsafe'. Experts came out in February 2025 saying that she likely didn't murder the babies. I don't know why the BBC have just released that article (March 2025).
Try this link from The Guardian too Swale - it's a good piece.

Justice Thirlwall is doing her best to keep her enquiry relevant.
At the time of her case, many of the UK outlets were not exactly reporting all of the facts. They bend things a little, reporting one side but not the whole story. The Letby case won't be the only ever example of this. In fact, currently in the US there is a growing concern over the Derek Chauvin case and the way it was conducted and the evidence that was withheld - very similar to the Lucy Letby. You can't imagine how hard it is on the net to find old news story headlines - they seem to just 'disappear'.
For Chauvin, the then President as good as declared him guilty before the case was even heard!
Mind you, those that have spoken up for Letby, must have some balls. Public pressure would be incredible against them, but if it is found that her conviction is unsafe, they need to be lauded.
