Nah, improved our league position, made some money, no doubt they'll be happy.

I?d gone to 60-40 for a long time to recently 50-50, just can?t say for sure, is the front 5 just not good enough? Didzy wasn?t great today at all and absolutely no one stepped up instead.
Well it beats being bankrupt and crashing out of the league doesn't it!
I'm not sure if your comment is meant to be critical or not, but I suspect they would neither be completely happy or completely unhappy. The first objective would surely be to improve our league position on last season, which we will, barring a monumental collapse. The play-offs would then be the next objective, and we're in contention for that. Automatic promotion would be the dream outcome, and we're only two points off the top three as we stand.
I think if after 46 games we could only point to a top half finish then they would be disappointed and might well review whether Maynard is the guy to take us forward, much as they did with Ardley. If we made the play-offs but didn't win them, then I think they would be happy with this season's effort, but would look to strengthen again in the summer to really push for the top spots next season, and if we got automatic promotion they would understandably be delighted, as would we all.
The big picture is that the worst we can probably expect this season is to just miss the play-offs and yet be in reasonably good financial shape to go again next season. I don't think the Bros would be "happy" with that, but relative to the disaster(s) this club has suffered in the past, it's not the end of the world.
Like I've said above. Opportunity knocks. If we're good enough to win six of the next eight games I think we'll be up. If we're not, and if we don't win or make the play-offs, then we look at where we still need to improve, much like we've done in previous seasons up to now.
Not critical at all, but i bet you I'm not wrong and Stuart will be here next season which I'm actually in favor of.
I?m totally 50-50 I think attacking wise he?s been given a harsh hand to say that he least. As for options , Williamsons the obvious answer but seeing him interviewed over the years I can?t see he motivating anyone.
I can remember under IB seeing Wealdstone smashing for us ironically for a half and I thought that?s the best I?ve seen in the league, was it?l down to SM, the Saunders? But attacking wise it was really good.
One promotion and one play-off semi final defeat (8-1) on agg. 5 wins in 25 for Carlisle.
At this moment in time, I would not be unhappy to see Maynard here next season. In 8 games, that might change. I am genuinely amazed to be saying that after his first 5 games in charge.
Me too,
It'd be a dream to go up. But, at worst, I'd like a competitive two-legged play-off battle, ending in triumph hopefully. The last time we had that was against Coventry in 2018
We're entering the depths of a promotion run-in so threads like this are nuts. If we want to be ridiculous, why not wait til the eve of a Wembley play-off final after we'd stormed through the semis and sack him then?
I want results to speak for themselves. Let's see where the next 8 games take us
