As a football manager the man is a joke. I think when we went into it during the fat slug's tenure as manager, if I remember correctly, of managers with over 500 games in charge he possessed the worst win/ratio of any other manager.

Yeah, no secret that is his cunning plan. What escapes me with this information in the public domain is how owners keep giving him jobs?

His results show how passive he is and the inconsistency of results lends itself to players making the gameplan up as they go in a game.

Which, does make, when you think about EH's situation, it all the more remarkable. However, NO WAY would Eddie Howe ever get a job at Man U or Liverpool or Arsenal after his stint at Bournemouth. " No big club experience ", " Not good enough ". Yet in the same breath these muppets have him short odds 2nd favourite for the England job. It makes absolutely NO SENSE.

Bruce has now fired back at Gayle - insisting he will only take criticism from people “more established” than Gayle. Speaking after Blackpool’s 2-0 away win at Northampton Town, he said: “I’ve been around the block a long long time.

“I’ve only managed 1,050 games but, according to Dwight, I don’t know what I’m doing. I’ll let other people make their minds up who are a bit more established than Dwight ever was.”


It's absolutely clear he doesn't know what he's doing. Barely achieving anything over 40% win ratio at some clubs. His top flight record is closer to 25%. That's relegation standard incompetence.

Compare this egotistical petulance with the way the Eddie Howe conducts himself. Regardless of what is said about him or comments about his abilities.

Eddie simply dismisses the whole subject with a comment such as " Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I am just focused on the next game and getting the boys ready to win. "

The more this scumbag besmirches his own reputation the more I feel fortunate and grateful we have Eddie Howe as our manager.
