I'm amazed the Israelis are happy whilst Netanyahu slaughters and displaces hundreds of thousands of Palestinians.

You have more chance of getting run over and killed by a car than you have of being killed by a freedom fighter's rocket Balan...

From 2004 to 2014, rocket attacks have killed 27 Israeli civilians, 5 foreign nationals, 5 IDF soldiers, and at least 11 Palestinians[11] and injured more than 1,900 people.[12] Medical studies in Sderot, the Israeli city closest to the Gaza Strip, have documented a post-traumatic stress disorder incidence among young children of almost 50%, as well as high rates of depression and miscarriage.[13][14][15] A public opinion poll conducted in March 2013 found that a majority of Palestinians do not support firing rockets at Israel from the Gaza Strip, with only 38% favouring their use.[16] Another poll conducted in September 2014 found that 80% of Palestinians support firing rockets against Israel, if it does not allow unfettered access to Gaza.[17] The rocket attacks have caused flight cancellations at Ben Gurion Airport.[18]

I'll bet Disneyland, Sea World & Universal Studios are rubbing their hands with glee. Not.

Britain has updated its travel advice for the US, warning visitors they could face ‘arrest or detention’.

The US ‘enforces entry rules strictly’ and those who do not abide by them could be detained, the Foreign Office says.

‘You should comply with all entry, visa and other conditions of entry,’ the department’s new advice reads.

‘The authorities in the US set and enforce entry rules strictly. You may be liable to arrest or detention if you break the rules.’

Earlier guidance that was in place in early February simply read: ‘The authorities in the US set and enforce entry rules.’

Lammy heckled by Tory MP's, well he would be wouldn't he?

Making a statement to the House of Commons on the breakdown of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, Mr Lammy said the resumption of Israeli military action in Gaza had resulted in an “appalling loss of life”.

He said: “On the night of March 18, Israel launched air strikes across Gaza. A number of Hamas figures were reportedly killed, but it’s been reported that over 400 Palestinians were killed in missile strikes and artillery barrages. The majority of them were women and children.

“This appears to have been the deadliest single day for Palestinians since the war began. This is an appalling loss of life, and we mourn the loss of every civilian.”

Mr Lammy also confirmed a British national was amongst those wounded after a UN compound was hit on Wednesday.

He said: “The Government calls for a transparent investigation and for those responsible to be held to account.”

Sometimes mon ami, I just smile at the hypocrisy and bare-faced cheek of it all, and then I remember, it's all a big game, nothing they say is meant to be taken seriously, except by mugs.

"Counterterrorism police are joining the investigation into the Heathrow fire. The airport has shut until midnight after a huge blaze at a nearby electrical substation wiped out its power. Some 1,351 flights have been cancelled. Ross Clark has the details below."

Well, our numpty politicians will keep poking the Russian bear won't they.

I like the latest Israeli policy, for every hostage the scum kill they will annex part of Gaza, one proposal is 5% for every murder, so kill 10 of the hostages and that's half of Gaza gone. In the meantime I believe the total number of IDF soldiers and reservists allocated to the eradication of the Hamas scum is now 400,000.

I'm still wondering just why the scum won't release the hostages, just what do they hope to achieve ?

Then todays news out of Israel, reads :
Upper Galilee comes under rocket attack for the first time in three and a half months; no injuries were reported after aerial defenses intercepted the rockets; IDF responds with artillery fire. Is the reason its winter and too cold to go out firing rockets ?

Under the November ceasefire deal, Hezbollah was to have no weapons in southern Lebanon, Israeli troops were to withdraw from the region, and Lebanese army troops were to deploy into the area.

Is it again the U N soldiers can not control Southern Lebanon, ( Is a U N soldier say from Senegal going to risk his life in Lebanon?) Winter is passing and the those little kids will be coming out with their newly acquired toys again. ''The Iranian regime spends hundreds of millions of dollars each year on funding and arming the Hezbollah terror group. Iran has attempted to transfer weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon by air, over land and at sea. This is how Iran arms Hezbollah and gets their weapons from Iran to Lebanon:

UNIFIL in a statement says it is alarmed by the possible escalation of violence following rocket fire on Israel; the prime minister and defense minister instruct the IDF to respond with force; Hezbollah denies responsibility for rockets. Maybe or could any green Martians be guilty?? Is it possible?

Under the November ceasefire deal, Hezbollah was to have no weapons in southern Lebanon. But its good to know 'UNIFIL' is alarmed by the possible escalation of violence. Just like my 98 year old grand dad in Rishton, and of course Alice 97 y, a member of the mothers Union, also from Rishton.

You can run but you can't hide. Another one bites the dust.

"Israeli strike at Gaza hospital kills senior Hamas leader. Ismail Barhoum is the latest Hamas official to be killed since Israel resumed its ground offensive."

"An Israeli airstrike on a hospital in Gaza killed five people, including a senior Hamas leader, in a targeted attack on Sunday. The strike hit the surgery department at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, the Gaza Health Ministry said. Israel’s defence minister, Israel Katz, said the target was Ismail Barhoum, a member of Hamas’ political office, and the terror group confirmed he was killed in the attack. Barhoum was being treated at the hospital for wounds sustained in a previous attack, Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV reported. The Israeli military said its attack followed extensive intelligence and used precise munitions to minimise harm at the site. Another leader in Hamas, Salah Al-Bardawil was killed in a separate strike in Khan Younis, Hamas said earlier. The Israeli military confirmed it had killed Al-Bardawil on Saturday. Both Al-Bardawil and Barhoum were members of the 19-member Hamas political office, 11 of whom have been killed since the start of the war in late 2023, according to Hamas sources."
