Also the opposition coaches walk more or less in front of where we sit at Belle Vue , you are virtually within touching distance as they make their way up to their positions in the coaching sector and nobody ever says anything untoward at all to them never mind abuse them , you just wouldn't .

However my original post was intended to show how the club should be forging closer links within the community and how that's done at Trinity .

The club needs to be more open and more inclusive within the community , I'm not saying they do absolutely nothing but I get the impression when they do it's more box ticking than any real policy .

They need to show that they care about the community outside of Grove Street and I believe in all honesty they only care about you spending your money down there .
The point you are trying to make Animal is a very credible subject, and whilst I try to understand it and relate my thoughts go back to the different behaviour of a football community as opposed to a rugby community , I strongly believe for what ever reasons that football fans have a hard core of individuals who are ruled by their tribal instincts , a rugby community are a reflection of the players that play their game, they are passionate , respectful , disciplined, warm and approachable whist the football community also reflect the players who play their game, a win at all costs , aggressive , ill disciplined and frankly between 3pm and 5 pm on a saturday become a different breed , all this leads me to think that one group of sport fans are approachable and responsive whilst another group of sports fans are basically the opposite and prefer confrontation and being objectional , if you suggest to a rugby fan an idea to take the club forward they will look to being positive and get behind it, if you suggest to the average football fan the same idea they will look to the negative and look for reasons not to get behind it , I do not know why but this is my perception of the difference between one sport and another .
