    36 year old left back and CB, left Luton in jan. Experienced, provides cover in those positions until the end of the season just hope he doesn't pieter out in a game!

    Decent enough FB in his day. As Swale says, he's been brought in as cover. He's 36, that's 6 months older than Fozzy. He must be reasonably fit as he's been training with Derby for a couple of weeks and JE thinks he's worth a short term contract. Elder has been susceptible to knocks this season so an extra left back isn't a bad idea, especially as Fozzy seems to be part of the back 3 of Lang?s, Clarke and himself. Hopefully Pieters is up to the wing back role should Elder be unavailable.
