Couldn’t agree more, just as that last weekend of October is the most depressing, when you know you won’t come out of a football match in anything approaching daylight for the next nearly four months!

I’m about as far south in Europe as you can go at the moment and sunset over the Mediterranean was at about 8.10 tonight.
    9.10 tomorrow…bliss!

Notts clocks went forward to 1941 I heard.

That elation folk appear to get on clocks forward day set in for me about 4 weeks ago. Been feeling all summery ever since. That coincided with "get yer 20 speed racing bike out again day". Come October, "saddest day of the year day" tends to coincide with "put yer bike away for a few months day".

Sunset for us is 20:11 today. Hopefully still warm enough for a glass of Rose in t back garding. However, with an expected high of 12 degrees today, it's more likely to be watching the football highlights on NPO1 whilst supping one of the fine ales I bought from Kellys Expat Shopping in Wassenaar on Friday. Saving the Black Sheep for Wednesday.
