Now that would be a shame....feel for fans but we need a BIG club to go pop! maybe then something may start the deck of cards come tumbling down with other over spending greedy clubs. Only themselves to blame, greed, greed, greed.

Well that didn't take long for money to be offered for a new take over and, another Saudi family looking to take over yet another Premier League club. Also there are still others lingering in the background also wanting to take over.

I was at a party on Saturday night and was in a three way conversation with the ex Chair of Lincoln City (Rob) and a Newcastle fan. Rob and I had this fascinating chat about the rise of Lincoln from non-league, including their first game against Rotherham at which Tony Stewart presented him with a great momento to mark the occasion of their return to league 2. We discussed Rotherham's yo-yoing existence over the past 10 years and the struggles both clubs had experienced with maintaining financial stability whilst trying to remain competitive. The Newcastle fan had no concept of the trials and tribulations clubs such as ours experience and was astounded at the pleasure we got from existing in such stricken footballing circumstances. It's a different sport/business in the PL but I know where I want my club to be!

It is another world Glenn. The 400m takeover did eventually go through at Everton but now they have announced their 7th successive year of losses totaling 570m.
