A loss tonight for sure as all LB did was to sign defenders..We have the lowest goals scored all the way down the league to position 17 and yet LB keeps saying we need three points...From where exactly!

3-0 For Grimsby tonight, and an ideal score line by DA in getting the sack from here! He comes on youtube within an hour of the end of the match, we have to wait until the next day...

Few managers would survive 2 wins in 11...All the players are wonderful!

I appreciate your point of view. It is getting harder to generate comment hence my poor attempt at humour above. I suppose the site is competing with Instafacetwitgram which is probably easier for some people. However, I refuse to use the oligarchsphere of the Muskrat etc al. So this is my only option to be involved in any Alex based chat.

C'mon Mike that's a tad harsh on LB, although he wasn't his usual self after the Vale game.

For what it's worth, I think that LB has been let down badly by 'certain players' this season.

Really hope that Jack Lankester is fit and ready-to-go - we have really missed him since he gotten injured.

Would like to see Jack Powell back in the starting XI - we need his enthusiasm.

Finally if we play Tom Lowery, can we please play him as a 'number 10', where is physical strength is less of an issue.

Gonna go with a 2-1 win, as Gazan seems to get his prediction right most of the time.

Just hope at the end of the game we aren't all saying "what a load of pollocks" ...

I mean no kid plays this game ever to just mess about in your own half and so we need managers now with vision and flair and go back to how football should be played. There should be loads of strikers and next to nothing defenders. But who is going to start it off?

BTW..I have lived in Grimsby and you cannot get Cod to eat anywhere...Its all haddick round there...How's that for humour?

And yet a GTFC supporter can still be referred to as a 'codhead' locally.
They did lose out drastically during the 'Cod Wars' with Iceland, so maybe when you were there the cod industry had virtually disappeared.

Still, let's REEL in some more comments/predictions. I'm not really a DAB hand at this so hopefully, I'm not ROEing against the current. Perhaps someone will take the bait and bite.

So, something 'fishy', but is it the away dressing room or Boardroom? We bought Hemmings and Bogle (had probably less than 50% playing time out of both), but like an old car, you have to caress and coax them. So with Long (although injured 50% of the prior season, I thought we had both a target man/men and a pacey man alongside, coupled to Jack Lankester on the wing?
I have said before we need to look at the training methods, as it seems to adversely affect the older players and to that matter mid-career (Long), maybe its just too much physical effort. The 15-20minute substitutions some odd, if we can see no penetration by halftime, let's change it up.
Crewe fans have always been 'lets give it a go' play attacking football and if we lose 5-3 rather than tame 0-0 or 1-1 draws, so be it. This years multiple thousand paper cut approach of getting a point drives us down the table and we have needed wins for the past month. We have had a hard run in (I understand), but we did not get points when available.

The support especially away is very good for a team like Crewe.

Tonight, sorry cannot see a win, Grimsby and Artell would like it to be a thick crispy battering, no Panko!, so 2-0 Grimsby and lets plan the changes required at the end of the season. Hope I am wrong.

Finally agree that this site needs to be used more, I am not an 'X' man, but even that seems to have no followers. Gazan and myself, feel like the Leaders of the Luddits!

I appreciate the site though I don't come on as much as I do. I got cheesed off by some people who do not understand the modern game, don't go to matches and can only see the game through rose tinted glasses which have gone cloudy as they think is like playing at the back of the park.
