It seems a more likely outcome today. As I said in the match thread it would take something special to get five wins and 81 points that would be needed for automatics. This league has not been predictable and anything can happen in the last five games but it?s wise to mentally prepare for the playoffs.

Upon reflection to finish in the playoffs would be a good outcome in our second season. We?ve been in a play off place most of the season. To think as well this season we?ve had no Macca, JJ injured for the most part and Crowley injured and departing it?s a good outcome. This has meant a lot of change in creativity and goals that could have made the difference. The defence has improved massively and is a promotion winning defence and is a strong foundation to build on. Plus those coming in during January have needed time to adapt and settle in. Our head coach is in only his first full season at EFL level. Then there are the numerous injuries the departures of the head of recruitment and blueprint brothers.

We are doing well overall under all those circumstances. We just need to now go and cement our playoff place and take it from there.
