(No, I don't expect us to win the playoffs, especially if we play Grimsby!)

    It's all about progress.
If only it was as simple as that. Could be a struggle next season. Remember wee willy's tenure??
    Stayed up

Doesn't matter who the owners are, you can still have a bad season. Dunnett, Pavis saw Notts relegated

Yes. We've been fortunate in consistently having two or three players bagging a dozen or more goals in recent seasons. You feel there is going to be a season around the corner where we won't be able to rely on a regular scorer.....

    2024/25 Jatta 17, McGoldrick 15.
    2023/24 Langstaff 28, Crowley 15, McGoldrick 12.
    2022/23 Langstaff 42, Rodrigues 19, Scott 15.
    2021/22 Rodrigues 20, Wootton 19, Roberts 16,
    2020/21 Wootton 17, Rodrigues 12,
    2019/20 Dennis 13, Wootton 13
    2018/19 Hemmings 14,
    2017/18 Grant 16
    2016/17 Stead 14
    2015/16 Stead 11

Nice list and it?s a great illustration of the big improvement in recruitment by the club.
You don?t produce that number of different goalscorers hitting 12-15 or more goals season after season by luck.

You need the supercomputer and a team of footy nerds behind the scenes

Fortunately in my world we're still going to finish 3rd so I don't have to worry about all this

I'm not too far away from that either.

I knew that Walsall would fall away after losing Lowe and there's still a chance they won't make the play offs. We just need a bit of a run and it looked that way until Colchester (how many times this season have we seen false dawns?).

    3rd is still a possibility.

I do have a laugh at some of your comments Durham
Have you considered changing your avatar to a picture of Victor Meldrew?
