Many thanks -two things I will say. Despite the rhetoric on here, SE delivered much success in his first spell. Like him or not, that’s undeniable and I wouldn’t have wanted those first 5 years at NYS to have been and different. And second, the problems at NYS are still there. Sacking SE was the right thing - clearly it hasn’t worked and the players had stopped playing for him. But those problems, remain and they haven’t been solved by installing a novice manager and an ex goalkeeper. Upstairs needs to be resolved which can only mean passing the ownership on to someone else who is motivated and more knowledgeable about football.
You might also want to look closely at some questionable commitment from the players who, you might care to remember were being paid out of mine and your pockets during their downing of tools. Oh you might well say, would you have given your commitment to SE is he treated them poorly. Well let’s remember that anyone on here would be fired if they downed tools - irrespective.
