This was not the Steve Evans I wanted to return and deliver. Put simply, he's gotten more arrogant, ignorant and lost the class to conduct himself well in the public eye. The amount of spats he had with opposing Managers was sometimes, damn right embarrassing as a representative of our club. How many yellow cards and bans this season? Have you ever known any previous Manager of ours who has conducted himself has bad in a season? He's gone and we move on as they say.

As for 'installing a novice manager and an ex goalkeeper', it's not too bad a start is it? We will lose again and heads will drop but in Hamshaw it looks as though he firmly has all the players on his side which is a big plus, wouldn't you agree?
Brin - you could easily argue the other way and say that if players had delivered he wouldnt have had to shout out them. Its not like we set off well and his public bolloxing caused a dip in form. We started poorly and basically carried on from there. Player equally as cupable for this season.

As for his behaviour, then I think you are misremembering his first spell. He was sent off and banned several times. I dont have the stats but I suspect more regularly than this season. Its funny though - it didnt matter back then when results were good. "HE DOES WHAT HE WANT's" remember that!

As for the last two matches, yes, well done MH. Thats not what I was saying. I was pointing out that the problems are at the highest level in the club. If Warne does go the Hudds or Barnsley it will be very interesting to see what MH does. Lets hope his run continues and let him get some experience of what TS is going to do next year. Assuming the good work continues he will then have a decision to make - that will tell me alot about where RUFC are going.
