Grist some delicate little flowers of today cannot take a deserved *******ing like they use to back in the 80s and 90s. Some are still on the tit when comes to manning up.

It's clear from nearly every post that you make Grist that you don't like the fact that the world is changing because in your eyes it's always for the worst. That's obviously your prerogative. However it will change independent of what you think and in today's world managers manage and employees respond in a completely different way to how they did 30-50-100 years ago.

    Ridiculous comment.

Clearly the difference is that one is able to motivate them with a positive attitude, the other couldn't.

Surely you must have noticed that Hugely didn't fall down once yesterday. There was a noticeable improvement in his role as target man.

Anyone pretending they'd have gone the extra mile for a bad boss they've personally experienced is kidding themselves. Doesn't matter what era it is, if the threat of grief is the motivation, you'll do just enough to avoid the grief.

Taking a *******ing is manning up? That?s an interesting theory.

I doubt he will ever pop up again.
I think such athleticism is completely beyond him. But he may float up like the malignant little t*rd he is, into another poor sod's drains.
Frankly don't care, as long as it isn't ours.

He could be popping up at his local job centre

Wow, I'm struggling to give a suitable response to that.

Steve Evans would be ok on a car boot selling meat from a butchers van, because he
certainly butchered our club, this time around.
With his side-kick Paul Raynor taking orders with his pen & paper, then giving the
out-stretched arms gesture, to say people are getting a good deal.
