Yeah Campbell has not been good since he joined.

Docherty, Middleton and Walton all very good

Fantastic result and now it is time to go for that 3rd place

    Well done lads 🙌🙌🙌

Whats the story with Campbell btw? What was he once good at? With him and Stephenson in midfield bit of a struggle on the ball. Are we using him wrong? Is he a defensive midfielder?
Agree. The formation that JG has deployed with Campbell in midfield and no wingers really hasn't worked. We offered virtually nothing other than dogged defending until the subs came on. Delighted to see Babunski back at last. Almost immediately we created a chance after the subs. We are in the top 6 now it would be nice to match that with showing a bit more ambition going forward.

It's fair to say however, that this not scoring in the first half does seem to work for us so you won't be hearing me complain about that again.

Exactly. All season we have been pulling results by keeping things tight then changing tactics and going for it later. Why would we want to change that when it's clearly been successful for us?

Wasn?t pretty but well done boys 🖤🧡

As for Campbell I have no idea what he brings to the team. Runs about like a headless chicken has poor distribution and very soft on the ball.

My issue isn't with that approach it is more the personnel and formations Jim has gone with since the January transfer window which hasn't worked particularly well.

We were harvesting points in the first half of the season, but were clearly a work in progress. JG asked for options, particularly up front and got them. He has spent Feb and March trying to fit them in, without success. But fair play we have remained top six all season and now have every chance of Europe. (Not convinced we are ready for that). The only real disappointment this season was the cup!

Yeah, I agree with this and JG has settled on getting back to what worked earlier in the season. Certainly in the last 2 games anyway.

Also, it's great to see Babunski back on the pitch. I think he gives us something different in midfield when we need it.

Campbell is a passenger. Looks like a player at the end of a long hard season ready for the holidays.
