One of the several stand out facets of Eddie?s management style is the importance he attaches to the role played by non-match day playing staff, both in training and for the psychology of the squad.
We do have Schar, Trippier and Burn, as well as Lascelles but it didn?t stop him from getting Ruddy on board. We were all scratching our heads at the time but it seems to be turning out OK so far!
As supporters we concentrate (too much?) on who trots out onto the pitch on match day but, EH is looking at the squad far more deeply than that.
