    Can't remember Tinsley Social club being there, it used to be on Sheffield Rd just before the M1.

    The way I've read that, it says that Barratt & David Wilson Homes were the applicants requesting to build on the land so, can we assume that 'they' now own the land and not Tony Stewart? Be rather strange for a builder asking permission if they don't own the land.

    Or the other way around Brin, testing the water before committing to the land purchase.

    I suspect the plans will be revamped and resubmitted

    ISTR these are the same builders who had bribed a number of Council staff in Donny a few years ago, so don't worry - permission will be in the post.
