Romared Match Thoughts Leyton Orient v Barnsley

Looking for us to repeat last week's performance against Bolton if of course not necessarily getting the same result which would be a big ask .

A ramshackle of a performance and sent back up the M1 tonight with 3-0 at the back of us leads us straight back to zero as far as progression is concerned .

Let's hope the travelling fans enjoy the performance as much as a good day out in London on a bank holiday .

I agree Animal, whilst the result is very important I think the performance is the main thing, I want to see us stick to a similar style as last week and hopefully take the confidence of that result into another positive performance .

Taking everything that’s gone off this season I am now looking forward to this game.

Yes this is the type of game that displays the hunger and professional pride that our players might have or might not have. Orient have their season on the line today. Win, and they are still in with a good shout of the Play offs. Lose, and I think that their season is probably over. There's much riding on it for them and they have a great deal more to play for and a great deal more pressure on their shoulders than we have. This pressure on Orient could play a part if we turn up today and be professional and play with pride.

However, the cynic in me says that this Barnsley team, especially with the way that this season has played out, it would suggest that we haven't got the guts to fight this one out. I hope that I'm wrong and I didn't se the start of the possible uprising last week so I do bear that in mind.

Let's hope for a professional performance. Those players are wearing that shirt and badge at the end of the day. Do it feckin justice.

A master class in how not to defend.
Looked great going forward in the 1st Half.
But the defending from minute 1 was atrocious.
The flat back 4 worked last week.
    This week it?s a disaster.

Well that improvement didn't last long , dear me .

No point beating about the bush Coonor , just tell many of them they need to contact their agents because they aren't part of your plans .

Awful 10 minute second half defensive collapse!!
Hourihane 1 win in 7 games now.
The defence at least need a complete overhaul before next season. Mccarthy is just shocking, Mael is just an accident waiting to happen, O'Keefe and Cotter are reliable subs, Roberts is ok but should not be a regular starter, Earl is the only one who is good enough, Pines too slow and injury prone.
A huge shuffle needed before next season. Humphrys showed today he's good enough, can't see us resisting a big bid for DKD though, 16 goals in a poor team will have other clubs on high alert.

Oh my darling please surrender and didn’t we just from 68 minutes.
Defensive clear out required that is for sure and we have been saying that all season.
You could see in that final 10 minutes of the first half just how poor we are at game management by constantly giving them possession.
    The seasons familiar theme.
