I said the other day why they'd hired Hourihane and that's to try and keep ST sales stable and minimise the losses .
Whether that actually works is another debate .
He's not got the gig based on results or performances or even any green shoots emerging , it's simply a commercial decision .
That said Hourihane should be judged after a pre season and a transfer window plus the first 12 games next season , that's the right way to judge him .
At the end of the day he's inherited the same crock of shyte Clarke had so it's hardly a great shock is it .
Only those who know feck all about football think different such as Neerav and his quangos .
