Coupled with the abject performance today, it is confounded by the fact that, had we won, the rest of the results would have gone our way. Having said that, the abysmal form we have shown of late gave us exactly what we deserved, NOTHING!

That's the thing though Swedish, I genuinely believe that this squad -despite some of our poorer performers-had the ability and potential to finish in the top 6. That we will likely finish mid table is the real embarrassment. For players and TM alike.

Yes, Omeg, but with ?top? I require all the assets: be able to play as a team, right mentality, psychological strength and stamina, right attitude, fighting spirit, to play forward with pace, to score goals, to win more often than you draw/lose etc?

Just back from the game…indeed many empty seats at KO and the biggest pre final whistle walkout I’ve seen at the Hawthorns.
Clearly there is something fundamentally wrong within the team. Apathy ruled today up to the quadruple subs - all of whom showed the sort of spirit, sadly non existent up to then
Bartley was dire. Constantly slowing any attack down, passing either around the back, or the a midfielder who was surrounded by opposition players, or long range into touch. At fault for at least 2 of the goals. I consider he is a major contributor to the current lack of motivation within the squad…goodness know why ?
Booing at half time and at the final whistle was inevitable.
So very disappointing.
