Someone posted SM?s home record a few weeks back but am struggling to find it now. It was absolutely rancid. The performances since the turn of the year at ML have been moribund.

He?s a reasonable guy but is (and never has been) up to the job. I hope the brothers don?t see the season ticket sales as a justification to keep him. I have renewed because I support the club, not because I am happy with what I have witnessed at ML this season.

I have it on excellent authority that the players are *scared* of playing at Meadow Lane and that the squad looks to Didzy for leadership as opposed to our so called manager. This will simply not change under Maynard - he is a pleasant, Tim Henman-type, but he is not a winner and never will be.

A change is desperately needed or I fear a relegation scrap next year.

The lack of tactics, the turgid and uninspired football, yeah, not the managers fault

If the owners keep that bloke on it’s negligence of the highest order. Without Didzy Crowley and pre Jan Jatta we’d have none of the individual talent we’ve relied upon this season. It might even put our league status at risk again.

The last 16 months of home performances especially have been completely unacceptable. He needs to go and quickly.

I've been thinking exactly the same.
Barring a major clear-out and rebuild, (manager included), I dread to think where we could end up next season? Shades of a repeat of what happened after the 2017-18 season? Or am I overreacting because of our pish poor end to this season?

Things won't be that bad but we do need a bit of a rethink. We need more depth to the squad and people need to accept injuries will happen. We also need to try harder in the Cup's as the owners have been droning on about us being sustainable - well winning cup matches and having a cup run would help.

Maynard can't put his boots on. Didzy is a massive miss.

We aren't in the same position as last time. Next season we'll still have a great defence and keeper

If that's true, I'll offer to drive him there and buy him dinner on the way.
