Also that save from Vicars, as important as any of the goals

If this had been written in Roy of the Rovers, nobody would believe it! Its still going to be a nervy last day against Stoke, bloody derby never do things the easy way! Fingers and toes crossed we can beat Hull.

Got to admire the team today and say Eustace got it wrong going with wingers against Luton.

Luton are hitting good form, I feel we need to pull another team into the battle. Before yesterday I thought 4 points would be enough, now that just won't do.

What a series of twists and turns. A different day, a different ref and they'd have had a penalty for the challenge by Adams. Seen it back several times from various angles and I'm still not certain he got the ball first. many a ref would have given the penalty. I still think their gal was offside. Great header from Adams for the first, Langas knock down to Clarke whose prod found Yates in the 6 yard box and he made the necessary movement to "thigh" it in for the second. Again, we got lucky with the first as Ebou made two handed contact with Furlong's back, IMO, insufficient to give him any advantage but there's many a ref who would have given the foul. I was pleased for him as it's the sort of chance he's been great at fluffing. In the week, he said in an interview that he really should have way more goals than he has. He's currently on 10 goals and that's about his level with a career average of a goal every 3.66667 games which works out to 12.5 based on a 46 game season. His Swansea contract runs out in 2026 so he's cost money. Taking into account his overall game, I'd be happy to see him in on a permanent deal if he was to play as the secondary striker alongside a 20 goal a season man. As the primary striker, no thanks. Cracking pass from Ebou to NML and excellent control and finish from him.

Unfortunately, most of our fellow relegation candidates also won. Looks like things could go down to the last game against Stoke. However, if we win at Hull, that would mean Cardiff and Plymouth can't get past us barring an incredible shift in Goal Difference. We win and Luton lose they'd need to overturn a 16 or more GD to get past us. Not 100% in arithmetical terms but a win for us and a Luton defeat sees us all but safe.

With the squad they have it was always possible they would come good eventually. Agree we need another 4 points! 🤞🤞🤞🤞

… for the 3rd time this season, a manager gets sacked after losing to Derby. Tony Mowbray has been sacked.

WBA turning into a basket case club. Eight managers in four and a half years!

Their inability to actually penetrate our defence under Mowbray whilst dominating possession has an air of familiarity about it.
