    I?m no betting man but?.

I?ve just seen Odds of 40/1 for Chesterfield to get promoted?.thats surely worth a tenner, if not just to soften the blow if they do go up or beat us in the playoffs!

I agree with the OP, odds of 40/1 (2.4% chance) look overpriced so I stuck a fiver on. Their hardest job will be making the playoffs, and realistically they have to win their last two games to do it. Seeing as those games are at home to relegated Morecambe and away to 21st placed Acrrington I think that's quite likely. If they did make the playoffs, they would go into them as the form team because all the others are stuttering. It's a big ask for them to win promotion, but I rate their chances a lot higher than 2.4%.

I?ve dropped a cheeky tenner on it. The only thing I can lose is ten bob?.but even that is a win because that means Chesterfield haven?t gone up, worth a tenner in my eyes!

    Notts go up - win
    Chesterfield go up - win
Chesterfield don?t go up - win
Chesterfield beat Notts - win, at least it would pay for my season ticket.

Stuck another tenner on at 40/1. Could be a nice ?800 easy consolation prize for the season. Straight back into Notts for the season ticket!

You would have got nowhere near 40/1 after today's games, I'd guess 4/1 at best.

I put a fiver on at 40/1 to win 210, and could cash out now for 30. I'll let the bet run.

I certainly think they're more than capable of doing it as they're on a great run and are finally getting their injured players back. I f we don't do it then good luck to them, I really don't mind them as a club and I like the manager.

You could certainly see Cheesie beating Walsall over 2 legs, so either us or Wimbo would face them in the final. Either way I could see them winning that match.

That's mental...I would actually reverse them and it would sound about right...
