Ach
I'm an al sod, and although I wouldn't go to a game without reed, and this young crew just like to wear black, each to their own and a that. They've done a great job supporting the team and creating noise (even without sweetie papers) and loud support so I'm nae gan ti girn.
Good to see them making an effort and we should all go as one
Never been a Don who dons the Aberdeen colours, apart from a foostie faded 80’s scarf that I occasionally used to wear. Was glad of that at the December 2023 Cup Final when the stewards directed me into the wrong “end” when I honestly thought that the mere absence of blue would be enough to lead to my demise. Won’t be buying the ?20 T Shirt for this one either but I might just wear the AFC Top that my son bought me for Xmas a couple of years back as the last two finals that I’ve attended have been decided on fine margins and this might just be enough to swing the result in our favour.
I'll wear red because it may make me seem young and relevant.
Walking down Merkland Road yesterday and all you could see was a heap of kids all dressed head to toe in black.
In 1990:
Liverpool won the English league
Crystal Palace reached the FA Cup final
Aberdeen beat Celtic in the Scottish Cup final.
In 2025:

It's coming hame, lads.
Ex-CEO Duncan Fraser applies some grouting to the ongoing fecht for an equitable share of cup final tickets?.
?The annoucement of Aberdeen Football Club?s cup final allocation has provoked many comments. People reference 50/50 splits without perhaps understanding what the issues are.
The key is that Hampden?s main stand has thousands of debenture holders who have until late in the day to decide if they want a ticket. Secondly, is that all member clubs get to buy a few tickets as happens in England.
Therefore for Aberdeen to get 20500 and have proper segregation, could only happen if the Club guaranteed that they will pay for those tickets. Therefore the major shareholders deserve a great deal of credit for underwriting the sales. In doing this they have probably secured around 4500 more tickets then may have been the case.
Few Clubs would be prepared to guarantee sales at this sort of level. Lets hope that the Aberdeen fans buy those tickets and turn Hampden into a genuine fair venue on the day.?
Jota out for 6 months
A few more like that would be handy
