You are never going to agrree on politics when the views are both so polarise and I suspect you have little interest in walking a mile in the other point of views shows.

The endless lecturing and hectoring of people makes this forum less fun than it should be.

Other than to wind people up or seek self gratification why do you actually post on here?

Actually disagree and agree with some comments being uttered..... but persuasive writing should use logic and reason to show that one idea is more legitimate than another.
.... helps to get results and pay the bills in my experience.

Many good and bad experiences over my 60 years from conception tell me that a wise man never knows it all.... as in understanding true wisdom involves recognising the limits of ones knowledge and remaining open to new information and perspectives as successful people ask better questions and as a result they get better answers in my aging experience.
..... that reality contrasts with the fools who arrogantly believes they possess all the answers as wise individuals would always acknowledge their limitations, they do in my experience anyway and are always eager to learn and foster a growth mindset.... which is what I have instilled into my four children all bought up in different individual economic family circumstances in different countries.

The specific context and desired level of intensity when exercising freedom of speech politely involves respectfully sharing your opinions and ideas while remaining mindful of others in my mind when discussing controversial topics....
Great threads should always involve the polite exercise of free speech which also means actively listening to and considering diverse viewpoints.... even if you disagree with them.... would be my being my take on matters on here.

Happy that so many on here are fortunate to have such insight and the time to spend it so generously with us but as the many missing members that I know often state.... having serious reservations actually expressing an opinion on here nowadays due to fear of any verbal come back anticipated is the problem.... which is a real shame.

Great quote - a little like the one
